Brendyn's BBQ: Authentic Texas Flavor Awaits You

Came over the 5th birthday celebration. The food has always been good, but they have stepped it up and definitely earned that spot on the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ joints. The dinosaur ribs were amazing, great flavor and super tender. Brisket boudin was the best I have ever had. It’s a great place and it’s great to see someone who puts God and his family first succeeding.

Stopped by on our way through right at busy lunch time. The inside is small and it was raining outside or we would have taken advantage of their outdoor seating. The line moved quick and the service was great. Very generous helpings of the loaded potato, brisket and ribs, and the jalapeño corn. They also loaded us up with pickles and onion when we asked for some. The sauce is a little strong vinegar-wise but it wasn't enough to keep us from enjoying the delicious meats.

I love Brendyn’s BBQ. They catered our wedding a little under four years ago so we made the drive to come back to Nac and have lunch here. We were greeted by all three people working behind the counter with genuine smiles on their faces. The brisket is delicious and so are the ribs. Sauces on the table are also very good. I love when a restaurant has both great food and great customer service.

Excellent BBQ! Tried the brisket, sausage and ribs. All very good/excellent - brisket is fork-tender w a great bark and flavor. The white cheddar Mac and cheese is also great. Friendly staff, too! Highly recommended, if you like BBQ.

Brendyn’s BBQ is a wonderful piece of Downtown Nacogdoches. The staff did an excellent job at helping us order, and we got a great sample of most of their BBQ elements. We got their leaner brisket, which was very well flavored and pulled apart easily. The sausage was another hit. I personally liked the ribs, which had a sweet aftertaste that paired nicely with their smoky flavor. The pulled pork went great especially mixed in the beans with a little bit of sauce. If you have kids, they’ll love the Mac and cheese. All of the meats are great, with and without sauce to pair with them. Next time we’ll be sure to get the banana pudding, everyone in the restaurant was talking about how good it was!

Nice BBq Joint. The Pork Ribs where done well and tastie. My wife loved her brisket and sausage stuffed potato. Frendly service and great atmosphere. Nac place for BBQ goodness.

Visiting from Michigan and this was the best brisket I have ever had. Prices were good. Dine inside or outside! Sausage and Jalapeño Creamed Corn were great also!

Alabama resident passing through and asked what was good to eat locally. I was not disappointed. The food is outstanding! The price is also lower than what I'm accustomed to. Tried a double meat brisket and pulled pork loaded spud. Everything was fresh and prepared in front of me. Can't recommend this place enough!
